Kishboo was created by me, Vicky Alegrí in 2008, following my passion for jewels and grapbic design.
I was born in Valencia, a lively city by the Mediterranean sea. I grew up surrounded by CNC - wood - machines, wooden species, veneers and cats playing around wooden pieces, that was my first contact with the wooden world.

Architecture was my profession for several years, and give all the knowledge for developing my current job in Kishboo. Inspiration comes from nature and personal experiences.
Applying these experiences and transform them into design, prints, collections or wooden pieces has been my way of expression for years. The constant interest in new knowledge, in learning, has led me to embark on studies such as Restoration in Florence - Italy, renewable energies at the UPC Barcelona -Spain and a stay for two years in Toronto - Canada which meant a before and after in Vicky's profession.

After my return from Canada in 2013, and after all the experience acquired in work and contact with small bussines dedicated to conscious production and as a maximum expression of my values, I decided to focus on my brand, developing solid wood jewelry collections.

In 2014 I began to experiment in the field of screen printing, with different materials. Technique that allows me to capture my illustrations, mainly flat and synthesized, on a wide range of supports.

Currently I develop patterns collections for natural materials such as cotton, linen or leather, hand-screen printed and work as a designer for a company in the furniture sector.

Kishboo, is a CONSCIOUS, active, changing project that evolves, since it is based on experiences.

The fundamental elements in my work are: the idea (history), the high quality material (combining technology and artisanal technique) and the balance between beauty and the timelessness of my pieces/work.
